Physical therapy has become common these days and there are clinics especially for this treatment. Mostly the doctors attend the patients the first time to analyze the extent of the effect and then ask the patient to come regularly to the clinic and get treated for the physical disorder. The voltage will be increased and the rod fitted with a cloth is dipped in sterilized water and kept in various parts of the body to make the muscles work. This will be done as a massage and the electric treatment will make the muscles flexible and activate them and is usually done for 15 to 30 minutes. This is followed by a massage in the hands. The patient is made to lie flat in the bed in the clinic and the physical therapy assistant applies powder in his hands and starts massaging the affected area by putting powder on the hands and on the affected area.

This type of massaging must be done on a regular basis and the patient has to come to the clinic daily to get treatment and in some cases there will be multiple physical disorders and these patients are admitted in the hospital and given full treatment.
